What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOJ is a therapy performed by delivering 100% oxygen to the patient after raising air pressure up to 2-3 times higher than air pressure at sea level. In other words, hyperbaric oxygen therapy refers to applying oxygen under a pressure of 2.5 ATA in a chamber in order to enable the cells carrying oxygen (red blood cells) to deliver the tissues more oxygen molecules which shall preserve vitality.
